Our Focus

To promote and assist the welfare and good of all community members with special focus on community members over 50 years of age and over in Hervey Bay and District.

We plan to:

• Improve the social benefit outcomes of the programs we operate
• Develop our volunteer resources
• Bring new opportunities to our members
• Increase the usage of our facilities
• Prepare the foundation work to expand our facilities

Not-For-Profit

The Hervey Bay Citizens Club operates as a not-for-profit entity, relying solely on club memberships and fundraising efforts to sustain our operations. We do not rely on financial aid from Federal, State, or Local Governments to cover our annual expenses, which exceed $100,000. Since our establishment in 1985, our Management Committee, comprised entirely of volunteers, has dedicated their time and expertise without any form of compensation.
